November 01, 2025, marked the official flag-off of CORUM Malaysia’s 6-month Virtual Challenge (VC 2025), a movement that unites us in spirit, strength, and purpose as we step forward for colorectal cancer awareness and survivorship.
Founder and President of CORUM (Colorectal Cancer Survivorship Society Malaysia), Dato’ Dr Mehesh, shared his inspiring flag-off message to launch this year’s challenge. Dr Mehesh, a consultant surgeon at Pantai and Beacon Hospitals, continues to inspire everyone with his unwavering compassion and dedication to saving lives.
This meaningful event is made possible through the leadership and hard work of Teresa Leong Moh See, the organiser of VC 2025 and Head of CORUM’s Fund-Raising Committee. Her energy and commitment have kept the torch of this initiative burning brightly every year.
We’re also proud to acknowledge two other key pillars of this year’s VC:
Captain Peter, our ever-energetic VC Coordinator, at over 70 years young, he leads by example! A true fitness enthusiast, he organises weekly hikes and walks that motivate participants to keep moving and stay healthy.
