
We are delighted to share that CORUM successfully completed a Basic Stoma Care Workshop, conducted over three sessions on 21, 22, and 24 August 2025, with a total duration of 6.5 hours. The program was delivered in a hybrid format – two online sessions followed by an in-person training session.
The workshop aimed to equip patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals with essential skills and knowledge in stoma care, reinforcing CORUM’s mission to empower the community through education and support.
Workshop Highlights
- 24 participants attended, representing a diverse mix of groups including NCSM Patient Navigators, CORUM Peer Support Group members, caregivers, nurses, pharmacy and manufacturing representatives, and other interested individuals.
- Ms. Koh Bi Qi, CORUM Life Member & Dietician, delivered an engaging session on “Diet for Ostomy Patients.”
- Ms. Jenny Ang, CORUM Life Member & Stoma Nurse, provided dedicated guidance during the hands-on practical training session.
