CORUM Malaysia was proud to be represented by Tengku Nazeehah Mahmood, secretary of CORUM, at the 7th Annual Stoma Care Week, held from 27th to 29th June 2025, at the IPB International Convention Centre in Bogor, Indonesia. Organised by WoCare Indonesia, this year’s event carried the powerful theme: “Bridging the Gap: Connecting Knowledge, Support & Care.”
The symposium brought together medical professionals, enterostomal nurses, students, and ostomates from across Indonesia for a series of educational sessions and community activities. The event was officially launched by Bogor Mayor, Bapak Dedie A. Rachim M.A.
A significant milestone of the event was the launch of the world’s first Ostomy Museum and the introduction of the Ostomy Card for ostomates.
Tengku Nazeehah participated alongside Mr. Ellil Mathiyan (President of Ostomate Society Singapore) and Mr. Jaafar (WoCare Indonesia) in a panel discussion on cross-border patient experiences, emphasising shared challenges, cultural insights, and the vital role of enterostomal nurses in delivering holistic care.
